These Terms govern use of Happy Homes, a private community matchmaking coordination service operated by [NONPROFIT LEGAL NAME] (the “Operator”). By creating an account, accepting an invitation, submitting a profile, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Service and Eligibility
Happy Homes helps authorized coordinators collect profiles, consider possible introductions, communicate with participants, and record decisions. It is not a public dating platform, background-check service, professional adviser, or guarantee of a match, marriage, compatibility, identity, conduct, or safety.
- You must be at least 18 years old and live in the United States.
- You may use the service only by invitation or with authorization for your assigned role.
- The service is currently provided without charge to participants.
Accounts and Access
Keep credentials, verification codes, invitation links, and protected profile links confidential. Do not let another person use your access. Notify us or your coordinator promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or an incorrectly shared link.
Information About Participants
You may submit information about another person only with that person’s permission and only for the authorized matchmaking workflow. Information in profiles may be provided by participants or coordinators and is not independently verified. You are responsible for information you submit and for your decisions about any introduction.
Acceptable Use
You may not harass, threaten, exploit, deceive, discriminate against, or impersonate anyone; submit unlawful, false, invasive, or non-consensual content; share protected information outside the intended workflow; bypass access controls; scrape, probe, or disrupt the service; or use Happy Homes in violation of applicable law.
Your Content
You keep any rights you have in content you submit. You give the Operator permission to host, store, process, transmit, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, support, and administer Happy Homes and make authorized profile shares. You represent that you have the right to provide the content.
Suspension, Termination, and Deletion
We may restrict or end access, remove content, or suspend features when reasonably necessary to address a Terms violation, unauthorized access, safety or legal risk, or a change to the service. Account holders may use the in-app deletion process. Some records may remain as described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and Disclaimers
We may change, pause, or discontinue the service. Happy Homes is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, the Operator disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from Happy Homes. The Operator’s total liability for a claim relating to the service will not exceed USD $100. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the U.S. state in which the Operator is organized and applicable federal law. Mandatory rights under the law of your state remain unaffected. Venue and procedure will be determined by applicable law unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the revised Terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice when a material change requires it. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
